Southwest airlines to begin flights to South Carolina

Southwest airlines announces flights into Charleston and the Greenville-Spartanburg area beginning next year. This announcement was made today as Southwest expands it's coverage in the South.

While this may not be big news for many people, Southwest has lacked a strong presence in the South for many years. Currently, Southwest flies into southern cities Raleigh/Durham, Birmingham, and Nashville and other cities in Florida but lacks a presence in other states like Georgia and South Carolina.

Southwest has a strong presence in Florida with flights to Jacksonville, Panama City, Ft Lauderdale, Ft Myers, Tampa Bay, and Orlando. However, Southwest only flies into one city in Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and North Carolina with no coverage in Georgia or South Carolina. The essential to budget travel is to prepare onward. When it happens to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new locations we have never been before, the reality of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our minds. Organizing and consuming our travel budget correctly is a priority for most families. Minimizing expending and costs, while still delighting your vacation to its fullest, is the key to assured achievement and fiscal liability. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thinking regarding saving money while travelling is simple: Even if your personal finances is highly tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also keeping in mind that while traveling, regardless of whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a large vacation or travel charge!. With flights into South Carolina next year, this will change.

Now those flying from California in cities like Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles will be able to enjoy some southern cooking and beautiful east coast beaches in places like Charleston and Myrtle Beach. As a native South Carolinian who now makes California home, I am excited to see that Southwest will now have a presence in my home state.
