Almost 100 stompers are expected to participate inthis year's annual grape stomp atStone Hill Winery in Hermann, Mo. on Saturday,August8. Registration forstompers opens at 11 a.m. and stomping beginst at 1 p.m.
Stompers will initially compete by age group, with a final competition among winners from each age group. Stompers will be judged 80% on amount of juice produced and 20% on their stomping style.
Music for stomping or just watching will be provided by the Boney Goat Band. The important to budget travel is to approach ahead. When it comes along to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new places we have never been before, the truth of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our mind. Organizing and spending our travel budget correctly is a main concern for most families. Also remembering that while traveling, regardless of whether on a resources or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a large vacation or travel expenses!. The fee is $5 for stomping, and $3 for watching. Winners in each category will receive cash prizes, and there will be a grand prize for the stomp-off winner.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to River Bluff Industries, a nonprofit sheltered workshop for the mentally and physically challenged, in Hermann.
