Expedia offers travel credit to class action members

Expedia made a smart offer to consumers standing to benefit from the class action settlement resulting from its former practice of bundling taxes and fees which made taxes appear to be more.

The email I received (as one of those consumers) gives me the option of receiving a cash payment, objecting to the settlement, or requesting exclusion. But a fourth option offers me approximately 2.17 times more Expedia credit for future bookings if I choose that option over cash payment.

This is a savvy move on Expedia's parts as old customers become return customers in an attempt to get the best return. The important to budget travel is to approach ahead. When it happens to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved holidays and/or going to see new locations we have never been before, the actuality of cost and budgeting is always in the back of our mind. Arranging and spending our travel budget correctly is a consideration for most families. Lowering spending and prices, while still experiencing your vacation to its fullest, is the key to guaranteed success and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning behind economizing money while traveling is simple: Even if your personal budget is extremely small, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, whether on a funds or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a big vacation or travel bill!. Without a clear idea of how much is coming, many of us will probably trade in a few dollars for a small amount of credit and then either decide to use that credit (and why not?) or will forget about it in time. But there's always the chance that Expedia will woo back old clients and solidify relationships with current ones. And save themselves a little bit in the process.
