United Airlines issues travel waivers for stranded customers

Verify the status of your flight at united.com or by calling 1-800-UNITED-1 before going to the airport.

Make any changes by midnight of your original travel date. (Rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it doesnt meet the original rules and restrictions, or is a new itinerary.)

Origin and destination cities must remain the same.

Rescheduled travel must be completed within seven days of original travel date.

Applies to all tickets purchased Dec. 18, 2009 or earlier.

Customers with canceled flights can receive a full refund.
