The Nationwide Ride For Life begins tomorrow! After months of planning, the journey is about to begin. Brian Johnson and the rest of the CF Riders crew will leave out of Heart of Dixie Harley-Davidson (333 Cahaba Valley Pkwy N, Pelham) tomorrow, Friday, April 15th at 11:00 a.m. on their way to Jackson, Tennessee for the start of this epic motorcycle journey.
On Saturday, April 16th, at Bumpus Harley-Davidson in Jackson, a fundraiser will be held. Bumpus, along with Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA), will host this event which will feature a ride, led by Brian, to Chickasaw State Park for lunch. Cost of the event is only $20.00 per bike which includes lunch for rider and passenger, door prizes, and live music! CMA will hold a Blessing of the Bikes at the park before the ride heads back to Jackson for the awarding of door prizes. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. Contact Bumpus HD in Jackson at (205) 560-1234 for more information on how to participate.
After the ride on Saturday, Brian and the rest of the CF Riders will continue on to Memphis and the rest of this journey which will last 10 weeks and cover over 14,000 miles to bring awareness about Cystic Fibrosis and to raise funds to help families dealing with CF.

Although the forecast calls for storms, the good you do will outweigh the inconvenience of getting a little wet and you may be able to get in a few miles before the weather gets too bad as the storms will likely intensify in the late afternoon.
