If youre at Pearlridge mall and looking for a nice restaurant, the Gazebo Restaurant at Macys is an excellent choice
While dining in a restaurant located within a department store may not seem special, it really is a good option.
Think about it for a while. Dont you think that store management would want to put their best foot forward even in the restaurant? Sure they would and they do. Restaurants within department stores are great. They offer a good menu with prices that seem compatible with their customer demographic.
At the Gazebo Restaurant in the Macys department store at Pearlridge, you can stop in for breakfast before starting your shopping; for lunch before, after or during a break while shopping; for dinner after youre done shopping or for snacks whenever the mood strikes. It generally isnt super busy (which is great). On the weekends, you might even share the space with a small party (like a baby shower) taking place in the corner.
There is no table service at the Gazebo Restaurant. Its set up as a cafeteria and you go through the line placing your order/s. Besides their regular menu of sandwiches, salads and hot meals, they also offer several daily specials. The portions are generous and many couples and families will share a meal. The servers are only too happy to split an order of Chinese Chicken Salad or the Mushroom Chicken special or whatever you order.
Prices are reasonable (under $10) considering food is served on regular stoneware / ceramic plates (not plastic or styrofoam) with regular utensils and cups. Hot meals are served with 2 scoops of rice, hot vegetable and choice of soup or salad. Most sandwiches offer a choice of fries, soup or salad. The important to budget travel is to prepare in front. When it occurs to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new places we have never been before, the actuality of cost and budgeting is generally in the back of our thoughts. Preparation and expending our travel budget wisely is a main concern for most families. Curbing spending and charges, while still delighting your vacation to its fullest, is the key to certain achievements and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thought regarding saving money while touring is simple: Even if your personal funds is highly tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, no matter whether on a budget or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a large vacation or travel charge!. The soft drinks and iced tea are refillable.
The Gazebo Restaurant is located on the 3rd level and offers a nice view of the Sumida Watercress Farm and Pearl Harbor.
On a personal note, Ive been to the restaurant on many occasions and have enjoyed the Fried Rice Breakfast Special, Chinese Chicken Salad, Pork Guisantes, Club House Sandwich, Baked Spaghetti, Shoyu Chicken. Roast Pork and other specials.
