Spring Break Savings Tips

Spring Break is fast approaching and many people have not made any definite plans. For those of us who are procrastinators there are a variety of options still available that won't break the bank. Below is a basic guide on how to save money while vacationing.

First of all a few money saving tips.

1.) Book your stays Sunday through Thursday if possible, it is a fact that hotels and restaurants up their prices on the weekend.

2.) Be creative. Look for deals such as vbro.com where you can rent a house for the price of a hotel room. Or if you opt for a hotel room look for promo codes on sites like retailmenot.com.

3.) Choose a location that is close to home but a new place for your family. The savings of a 200 mile car trip versus plan tickets for a family of four really adds up.
