Three years in the making, promoters, Mike Uli and Ross Prewitt of Vendor Guy Entertainment are "Ready to Rumble". Rumble on the Red, that is. "Rev it up, trick it out. The Full Throttle Saloon is coming to the Rumble on the Red April 26 and 27 in Shreveport's Festival Plaza. Meet and visit with Michael and Angie Ballard. THE RUMBLE will feature two days of Rally Rides, Live Music, MMA fights and a Swap Meet. Toss in excellent food and top notch vendors and you can understand why thousands will be in attendance!" These are the words that can be heard on Kiss Country 93.7 radio station, and are the words that bring excitement to motorcycle enthusiasts and jeep riders alike.
This rally is the brain-child of Uli and always provides great entertainment, but this year Vendor Guy Entertainment has outdone themselves bringing the Ballard's of Full Throttle Saloon and Tru TV fame to Shreveport. Michael and Angie will be available to greet fans both Saturday and Sunday. According to sources Michael and Angie will do meet and greets from 2 to 6 p.m. both days, break for dinner, then Michael (maybe Angie, too) will come back and take in the fights. The musical lineup, entertainment and vendors will keep rally goers entertained throughout the two day festival. Fesitval Plaza, in the heart of downtown Shreveport is an awesome location, and organizers are planning a great event. Music by Rockin Redeyes, Pocket Change and AJ and the Two Tone Blues Band are just a few of the local favorites who will rock the stage. The MMA fights are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. each night. The Swap Meet will offer lots of discounted bike and jeep parts and accessories. In addition, there will be vendors, games, rides and the MMA fights on Saturday night. There's no better location than Shreveport's Festival Plaza and the local community goes all out to accommodate the event, closing off streets and making it easy for guests to get to the event location.
The Trail Lizards Jeep Club will be at the rally starting this afternoon at 2 p.m. through Saturday night events. They will have t-shirts for sale for $20.00 each with $5.00 from each of these tee shirt sales going to the Gingerbread House for Abused Children from Bossier/Caddo. The Gingerbread House performed 5538 Forensic Interviews in the past 10 years. Visit their Mopar Tent and get your Collector Tee Shirt and help support the children through Gingerbread House. They will accept cash donations as well! The white logo is on the front of the tee shirt. The back features a B-52, Jeep and a Motorcycle. All made in America!
Pinky's Passion Motorcycle Travel Magazine will be on site Saturday taking pictures and conducting interviews for a feature in the June issue. Stop by the booth and subscribe to this magazine published locally and distributed internationally. You might find yourself on the "cover of the Magazine".
